Wayne R. Cohen is the founding partner of Cohen Injury Law Group and one of the most recognized personal injury trial attorneys in the country. He graduated from the University of Michigan with distinction and earned his law degree cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. With more than 30 years of experience, he holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell—the highest peer rating for ethical standards and legal ability, and has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100.
Wayne’s reputation extends far beyond the courtroom. He has been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, the Today Show, and Good Morning America, and quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, USA Today, the LA Times, and the Boston Globe. The Wall Street Journal, in a feature profile, called him “brash, aggressive, and enterprising.”
Beyond his practice, Wayne has shaped the next generation of trial attorneys as an Associate Professorial Lecturer at The George Washington University Law School since 1993, where he teaches Trial Skills. He also taught at Pepperdine School of Law. A former amateur boxer in high school and college, Wayne brings the same relentless preparation and competitive drive to every case, fighting for clients who need someone in their corner who won’t back down.
